Without our volunteers the Institute would never have been able to have been built in the first place and subsequently rebuilt in this century and then maintained at its present level.

Volunteers help in many ways - acting as stewards at our events and in the cinema, working in the bars and helping to organise and publicise everything that takes place here. Without them the Institute would not be the vibrant centre it is.

Volunteers now have the opportunity of being trained as projectionists, and how to work with the sound and lighting in the theatre.
